À l’occasion de la sortie à l’automne prochain d’une réédition du dessin-animé Cendrillonen haute définition Blu-ray et DVD, le créateur a été choisit par les studios Walt Disney pour réinterpréter les souliers de la princesse imaginée par Charles Perrault à la fin du XVIIe siècle. Ni citrouille magique ou romance onirique mais une paire d’escarpins chamarrés d’une dentelle noble, brodés de cristaux précieux et enchantés par deux papillons déployant leurs ailes étincelantes sur le bout d’une pantoufle tout en transparence et à la frontière d’un talon pavé de strass. Des souliers d’exception sertis sur une semelle en cuir rouge, signature mythique du plus féériques des chausseurs français.
À l’occasion de la sortie du dessin animé en DVD et Blue Ray fin septembre, Disney veut créer le buzz et vient de lancer un concours destiné à trouver sa nouvelle Cendrillon pour lui rendre sa paire de chaussures.
Lancé ce lundi 27 août sur la page Facebook des « princesses Disney« , le concours est apparemment l’occasion de rappeler que les princesses n’ont pas vocation à vieillir, puisque celui-ci n’est ouvert qu’aux jeunes femmes de 18 à 25 ans…
Les finalistes qui passeront la première étape du questionnaire seront ensuite invitées à Paris le 25 septembre pour une cérémonie inspirée du conte de fée et dont les épreuves désigneront l’heureuse élue. Celle-ci remportera donc une paire de ces chaussures signées Christian Louboutin, éditées seulement à 20 exemplaires dans le monde.
